DFI’s core strengths can be found in the richness of its people and their skills and experience. A combination of European management consultancy skills with American technical skills which are now based in the Middle East, gives DFI a unique blend of the utmost value to western companies.
is the Chairman and Co-Founder of DFI and brings over 12 years senior level experience in the education software and publishing sector. He has held executive positions at Riverdeep Interactive Learning and Educational Media and Publishing Group International. In 2006, he formed GESL Ltd to focus on opportunities in this sector for localized software for the Middle East and Africa region. He formed DFI in 2011.
is Chief Executive Officer at DFI and Managing Partner & Co-founder of the Dataflow Group. He has over 20 years’ experience managing and developing technology environments having in partnership established Dataflow s.a.r.l. in Lebanon in 1993 which has designed and built software solutions for the education, telecommunication and financial sectors. He has acted as technology consultant on a number of major education projects. Jean Loup has extensive experience in designing large scale data management applications.
is Chief Financial Officer at DFI and Managing Partner & Co-founder of the Dataflow Group. He has over 20 years’ experience managing and developing technology environments, having in partnership established Dataflow s.a.r.l. in Lebanon in 1993 which has designed and built software solutions for the education, telecommunication and financial sectors. His previous experience stems from Istisharat and their subsidiary in Paris, INFOEL, where he held the position of Technico-Commercial Engineer for their Banking Division. He is also currently the CEO of Société Générale Financière du Liban SAL a financial & real-estate company.
is Chief Technology Officer for DFI with responsibility for leading the technology engagements and development teams. Previously Khaled worked for Microsoft where he was Developer & Platform Evangelism (D&PE) Lead for Microsoft (North Africa, EastMed and Pakistan) and prior to that Services Emerging Market Lead for Microsoft (Eastern Mediterranean & Pakistan). He joined Microsoft in 2005 from New Horizons where he was Director of Technology for their Lebanese business.
is Director of Education for DFI. Prior to joining DFI she worked for EMPGi and its predecessor company Riverdeep with whom she worked on a number of major projects, acting as chief editor and Math and Science SME on localization projects in the Arab world. She has also provided consultation on regional curriculum development including textbook digitization and enrichment and the alignment of e-learning content to curriculum. She has a thorough understanding of math and science curricula throughout the region and holds a master’s degree from the American University of Beirut.
is Regional Director Business Development for DFI where he leads all business development activity in the MENA region including the management of bid responses to all public sector tenders. He previously worked for EMPGI, an affiliate of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, having joined their predecessor company Riverdeep in 2006. Prior to joining Riverdeep, Paul spent the previous 15 years with the Smurfit Kappa Group, one of Europe’s largest packaging companies, where he was head of Sales and Marketing for one of their Irish divisions.
is a Business Development specialist with 20 years of international experience in sales, advisory and consulting roles in Eastern Europe, Europe and the Middle East & North Africa (Russia, Ukraine, Switzerland, UK, Latvia and Libya). A fully fluent Russian speaker, with good understanding of and ability to communicate in Arabic. Culturally sensitive and highly adaptable, with excellent customer relationship management skills in challenging markets.
is Regional Marketing Manager for Dataflow International with over 19 years of extensive and varied corporate experience in all aspects of Direct Marketing, Corporate Communications, Media Relations, Advertising Campaigns, as well as Event Organization. He has previously held several positions in Marketing and Communications Agencies servicing diverse industries in markets like the UAE, Lebanon, Bahrain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Cyprus and Malta. He is native to the Arab World with a wealth of intercultural exposure allowing him to contribute to the intricate marketing specifics of the MENA region.
